In the upcoming weeks I’ll be writing more about sweetie bars, as I think they are a brilliant and affordable addition to your reception, but just as a quick note, when passing through my local Wilkinsons the other weekend, I found loads of glass jars that’d be PERFECT to use if you are creating your own DIY sweetie table!
Ranging from £1 to £6, they were stocking a variety of different sizes, shapes and styles of glass lidded jars.
But don’t forget the less obvious; vases. Vases can give height and variation on the table, not only making it look more exciting, but can hold a greater amount of sweeties. You can also often pick these up in places such as Wilkinsons, Asda, Tescos, and the £1 shop.
Also check out your local charity shops for cheap, retro glassware!!!
